Mahjabeen Mamoon is an economist by training with experience in socio-economic research and teaching. She brings an extensive academic background in economic development and policy analysis to the development of strategic perspectives on microtasking.
Her research experience includes development economics, the Canadian labour market and other social issues. Therefore, she provides clearly thought-out recommendations to senior management. She has a proven track record of using data from broad business and functional areas through to insightful ways to aid informed action.
Since 2016, Mahjabeen’s focus has been workforce development policy and programs. In her role as Lead Research Analyst with the Toronto Workforce Innovation Group, she cultivates strong connections with all levels of government, unions, employment service providers, educational and training institutions. She engages stakeholders to develop innovative solutions to complex issues facing the Canadian labour market.
